CTS PhD Student Tabitha Green Receives National Neurotrauma Society’s WiNTR-VISA Award

CTS Ph.D. student Tabitha Green, who is preparing to defend her dissertation in Summer 2022, has been selected by the National Neurotrauma Society to receive a WiNTR-VISA award.  The WiNTR-VISA award is given by the NNS Women in Neurotrauma Research and will provide $5000 to support Tabitha as she travels to Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, this Fall to complete a three week collaboration on brain injury, epilepsy, and infection with Neuroscience professor Dr. Bridgette Semple.  Tabitha successfully competed for the WiNTR-VISA award against applicants including post-doctoral researchers and junior faculty. The CTS program congratulates Tabitha on her award, which reflects the quality and value of her doctoral research.
