Genetic Counseling
Genetic counselors are medical professionals who work as part of the health care team to help patients and families interpret, understand and make decisions about their genetic health.
About the Program
Our students benefit from the University of Arizona's rich biomedical research and clinical training programs in both Tucson and Phoenix. With campuses and medical schools in both cities, students have the opportunity to train with clinicians, researchers and experts in the field of genetics and genomic medicine.

Admissions
The UAGCGP application period for the class commencing in the Fall of 2025 (class of 2027) will be open from Monday, Sept. 9 to Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024. The application deadline is close of business on Dec. 19, 2024.
