Olivia Mays, MS, CGC
Olivia is from Buffalo, New York and graduated from John Carroll University in 2020 with a BS in Biology. As an undergraduate, she worked as an intern at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in the summer program doing research in breast cancer genetics. This focused primarily on a novel therapeutic option for Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Additionally, she spent time as an intern at the Monarch School working with children with Autism. Olivia enjoyed volunteering with various organizations such as Crisis Text Line and the Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center. She also belonged to John Carroll’s Love Your Melon campus crew spreading awareness for pediatric cancer. Outside of school, she spends time hiking, having movie nights, and looks forward to getting involved in the Tucson community.
