CTS Graduate and MD/PhD Candidate Ben Conner Creates App for Adaptive Athletes
Benjamin Conner, an M.D./Ph.D. candidate and CTS program graduate, has designed a new app to assist disabled athletes seeking accessible workouts and therapies. As featured recently in a College of Medicine-Phoenix report, Dr. Conner's new app was designed in collaboration with Ability 360, a non-profit organization run by and for diabled people, and Sharon Moskowitz, the strength and conditioning coach for the U.S. Paralympic Rugby team. The No Limits Mobile app provides an encyclopedia of exercises available to adaptive athletes with demonstrations of how to perform them. Development of the No Limits Mobile app was funded by Tech Launch Arizona via its Impact Software/App Challenge and is available free to iPhone users via the Apple App Store. Dr. Conner earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Translational Sciences in Spring 2022 and will complete the M.D/Ph.D. dual-degree program earning his M.D. in May 2024.
