Vasudeva Kamath
Assistant Professor - Phoenix
Dr. Kamath's current research into mitochondrial DNA copy number (mtDNA) alterations in diseases spanning from pancreatic cancer to mental health disorders represents a multidisciplinary effort to unravel the molecular underpinnings of these conditions. By uncovering the role of mtDNA copy number changes, we aim to contribute to the development of novel diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies and a deeper understanding of disease mechanisms in these diverse pathologies. Ultimately, this research promises to improve patient outcomes and quality of life across a spectrum of diseases.
