Becki Ross, MA, MS, CGC
Becki's prior academic degrees are from Penn State (MA in Biological Anthropology) and Arizona State University (B.S. In Anthropology with a minor in Biological Sciences), where she focused on the study of human evolutionary genomics with a special interest in population genetics. Becki is now a graduate of UA's Genetic Counseling Program and a Board Certified Genetic Counselor. She works for Natera as an Associate Clinical Variant Curator in which she melds her interdisciplinary experience in both evolutionary and clinical genetics. She is an advocate for improving diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the fields of genomics and genetic counseling. She also continues her ongoing science communication and science education endeavors as a Consultant for MyGeneCounsel and as Adjunct Faculty at Mesa Community College where she teaches biological anthropology.
