Karis Kellner, MSPAS, PA-C, CAQ-EM is the Director of Clinical Education for the University of Arizona Physician Assistant Program. Karis received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Francis Marion University. She completed her fellowship in emergency medicine in South Carolina where she practiced clinically and precepted PA students in several academic and community hospitals before finally returning home to Arizona. Karis has instructed courses at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and works closely with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) on PA board certification exam development. She is an active member of the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants (SEMPA) and the PA Education Association (PAEA).
