Assistant Professor of Practice, Physical Therapy Program

Monica Michalski, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert MDT, MLD/C, GTS, CWC joins the College of Health Sciences and the Doctor of Physical Therapy program as an Assistant Professor of Practice. Dr. Michalski received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Montana (2012) and obtained her Bachelor of Science (1991) and Master of Physical Therapy (1993) both from the University of Michigan. For the last 30 years, Monica specialized in the evaluation and treatment of vestibular and balance disorders and she eagerly anticipates furthering research in this area. She presented at multiple national conferences on the rehabilitation of movement dysfunctions. In addition to being a clinical education coordinator, new graduate mentor, and adjunct faculty for a PT assistant program, she served for four and a half years as the Director of Rehabilitative Services at an Arizona hospital and outpatient center.
