Robert Hoy, MPAS, PA-C
As a western New York native, Rob received his Bachelor's of Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology Physician Assistant Program, Rochester, New York in 2009. He was commissioned into the Air Force and received his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska in 2012. He was stationed at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Family Practice Clinic, where he fell in love with Tucson and his wife (UofA alumni), and at the Malmstrom Air Force Base Personnel Reliability and Assurance Program, Great Falls, MT before moving back to Tucson in 2016 where he currently serves in the Air National Guard.
Before joining the University of Arizona PA Program, Rob was a lead Advanced Practice Provider for Arizona Urology Specialists, a Principal Investigator for multiple clinical trials, the Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic Champion, Prostate Cancer Support Group Coordinator, and a speaker or advisory board member for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Tempus, Accord BioPharma, and Dendreon Pharmaceuticals.
He holds membership with the American Academy of Physician Assistants(AAPA), Society of Air Force Physician Assistants, American Urological Association, and the Urological Association of Physician Assistants and has been recognized as an Air National Guard Biomedical Science Officer of the Year and a Distinguished Fellow of the AAPA.
Aside from his professional obligations PA Hoy enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include board games, cheering on the Buffalo Bills & UofA, coaching, tennis, and volleyball. He also aspires to learn the piano and travel more.
